Took his final flight to be with his Lord and saviour suddenly at Health Sciences North Hospital on Monday, March 26th, 2018 at the age of 70.
Beloved and most cherished husband to his “Little Wifey” Val (Chomitsch) for fifty amazing years. Randy epitomized the perfect husband always patient, always kind.
He was the absolute best dad to his three children Jody (Sandra), Tammy (Graham) and Christy (Gavin).
Little brother to Winona (Tony) and Gayle (Glen).
Grandpa, Papa, Pop-Pop to eight grandchildren; Jordan, Jillan, Josie, Sagen, Kendriah, Thomas, Matthew and Zoey.
Paw-Paw to Paul (his best friend and faithful companion).
Randy was an avid pilot and model airplane enthusiast, sharing his passion for flying with anyone brave enough to go with him.
He had an incredible voice and ear for music, leading worship at his church performing alongside his wife.
Randy was a dedicated hockey player playing 3-4 games a week averaging 2.64 goals per game (His words). He was able to outskate many players 30 years his junior.
He was a devoted member of the St. Joseph Island Free Methodist Church, dedicating an uncountable amount of hours helping those around him. Randy was a jack-of-all-trades and a master of most. He was able to fix anything you put in front of him, from dishwashers to car repairs he would always figure out the problem and create a solution (Mostly with duct tape).
He will be missed by all those who knew him.
Visitation will be held at St. Joseph Island Free Methodist Church (1589 Hilton Road Hilton Beach, Ontario P0R 1G0) on Saturday, March 31st, 2018 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
