Peacefully at home on Monday September 11, 2017, Dave Fillion at the age of 78. Husband and best friend of Helen. Loving father of Shawn (Shanti) and Mary (Scott). Papa of Shannon (Gaetan) Ducharme, David and Melissa Fillion and Dylan Ducharme. Predeceased by his parents Gilbert and Irene Fillion. Brother of Dorothy (late Lloyd) Beaton, Percy (Barbara) Fillion, Gerry (late Barb) and Brenda (late Barnie). As per Dave’s wishes, a Memorial Mass will take place on Thursday September 14, 2017 at 11:00 at Mother of God Catholic Church (303 Old Hwy 17, Goulais River, ON P0S 1E0) with Father Veselko Kvesic officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank their wonderful friends in Goulais River, the Mother of God Church Parish, Lise, Roy and Maryanne, Harold and Doreen, Lynn, Bonnie, Gilles and June, Paramed and Dr. Rossi for all the care and compassion given to Dave and shown to the family.
