FINDLAY, Melvin John

Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, April 17, 2017 at the age of 76, surrounded by his family and friends. Beloved husband of the late Betty. Loving father of John (Nancy), Melvin Jr., Betty Ann, Christopher, and Kathy (Doug). Proud grandfather of Johnny (Nicole), Joshua (Kayla), and Nicole (Alex), Robert and Jamie, Nicholas and Harry. Great grandfather of Ladon. Son of the late William and Sally Findlay. Son-in-law of Ruby Evans (late George Evans and late Arthur Ervin). Dear brother of Bob (Roberta), late Linda Hurd, Esther (Ralph McPhee). Brother-in-law of Caroline, Bordeleau, Beatrice (late Andre Bordeleau), and late Bill Ervin. Special uncle of Dave, Lori, Jordan and Ben Hurd. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. Memorial service to follow in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. Mrs. Helen Smith officiating.
