FOLZ, Carol Jean

(June 29, 1944 – April 2, 2017) - Peacefully, with her family by her side at the North Shore Health Network, Blind River on Sunday April 2, 2017.  Carol Folz at the age of 72, beloved wife of George Folz for 53 years.  Loving mother of Jeff Folz of Markstay, Bonne Aubertin ( Daniel ) and Penny Folz both of Blind River.   Special Grandma to Lynette, Dawn Marie, Jessica, Joshua, Charisma, Travis ( Rebecca ), Justin, Kendra and Great Grandmother to Logan, Ashley and Axel.  Dear daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha Whalen.  Dear sister of Bobby, Loretta and the late Delores, Florence, Harry, Frog and Gary.  At Carols request there will be no services at this time.  A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.  Donations to the North Shore Health Network Foundation gratefully accepted.  Arrangements entrusted to Menard Funeral Home, Blind River, Ontario.
