FORD, Lawrence Edward 'Larry'

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 2, 2017 with his family by his side at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice after a short but courageous battle at the age of 54. Loving husband and best friend of Rhonda for 30 years. Proud and devoted father of Ryan (Kirsten) and Kendra Rome (Christopher). Adored and fun loving Grandpa of Presley, Carter, Theodore and Shaefer. Loving son of the late Charlie and Jean. Dear son-in-law of Hugh and Arlene Hunter. Cherished brother of Jackie Pritchard (Len), Sue Staszkiel (Bernie), Louise Goertzen (Mike), Walter (Lois), Bob (Tamar), Eric (Ila), Steve (Ellen), Reta Hurley (Glenn), Raymond (Carole), Kelly Avian (Pete), Wayne (Carrie) and Leslie McPhee (Darren). Much loved brother-in-law of Matt Hunter (Jamie), Marsha Lee and Cindy Hunter. Special Uncle Larry of many nieces and nephews. Larry will be lovingly remembered by aunts, uncles, friends and neighbours. A Come & Go Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held at the Bar River Hall on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 4 – 7 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to ARCH, Algoma Autism Foundation or the Desbarats United Church would be appreciated by the family.
