After a long courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 63, Denis passed away with his loving family by his side on Thursday, October 27, 2016. His strength and positive attitude were an inspiration to everyone he knew. Denis was born in Hamilton, Ontario on October 2, 1953. He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Debbie (nee Dimma). Loving father to his four children, Darlene, Lindsay, Karli and Lee. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother Rose Marie Forget, brother Charles Forget and sisters, Linda Chabot and Theresa Eastham. Predeceased by his father Emeilien Forget and brother Michael Forget. Remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Denis loved life, had a wonderful sense of humour and most of all was very proud of his family. He was a Millwright at Gerdau Courtice Steel, previously at Canron in Hamilton. Denis loved music and was a talented musician and singer who played in many bands over the years. Over the past 4 years Denis played in Thompson Road band with his wife Debbie and his good friends.

Special thank you to Dr. Lepic, her team and the nurses at Jurivinski Cancer Hospital in Hamilton, the Palliative Care team and Innisfree Hospice for their compassionate care throughout this journey. Visitation will take place at T. Little Funeral Home located at 223 Main St, Cambridge (519-623-1290) on Friday, November 4th from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm. The Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, November 5th at 2:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. In memory of Denis, donations can be made to Innisfree Hospice at www.lisaardhouse.com.
