(July 17, 1945 - May 21, 2016) - It is with heart filled sorrow that the Francoeur family announce the sudden passing of their brother Alex Oscar Francoeur on Saturday May the 21st, 2016 in his 71st year. Dear son of the late Amable (Freezie) and Cecile Francoeur. Dear brother of Romeo, Cecile Wilson (Eugene), Roy (Fran), Beatrice Jensen (Ross), Frank (Donna) and Alfred (Linda) all of Blind River; Don (Late Sheila) of Iron Bridge; Palma (Lorraine) of Port Elgin; Aline Thibault of Sault Ste. Marie, and The Late Joseph and The Late Alexandre (Late Barb). Very special uncle to Joe (Amable) Francoeur and Paula Morgan (Mike). He will be sadly missed by all his brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws as well as his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. As per his wishes, there will be no visitation. Alex’s friends and family are welcome to join us in a celebration of his life on Saturday, May the 28th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Riverside Hotel in Blind River, Ontario.
