On Friday December 14, 2018 Colleen Frost transitioned from her earthly life of 68 years into her eternal life with her Heavenly Father.
Colleen is the daughter of the late Guy and Eva Frost. Mother to Anne and Kevin (He's more than just my son in law), grandmother to Emma and Bugga to her Bug, Lochlyn.
Colleen was a devoted daughter, wife, sister, comforting mother, hard worker and friend. A spoiling grandmother to both her two and four legged grand-babies, always with a donut or timbit treat in hand respectively. A grandmother's prerogative, right?
All her roles on earth are complete and she is now Colleen, content in the Lord's embrace.
Colleen was renowned for her lack of patience, intolerance of stupidity, not holding back her opinion and a knack for telling it like it is. She always told you the truth even if it wasn't what you wanted to hear.
With that said she was genuine to a fault, with a soft heart and yet she sugar coated nothing. She liked four letter words almost as much as she liked a bargain, with her favorite being PRAY. She insisted you always get your facts straight the first time, the middle finger is sign language, and a liar and disloyalty are not worth your time, just your prayers. Never forget to put your Armour of God on every day and always, ALWAYS wait on God's timing. He knows what he is doing far better than you do. Keep your hands busy, with knitting, a book or do puzzles... they keep the mind sharp, otherwise you're no competition.
Everyone always knew where you stood with her. She liked you or she didn't, it was black or white. As her family we are still trying to figure out which one it was for us. (We know she loved us) Colleen loved her family with a fierce, unconditional love and devoted herself to them. Being with family was most important to her and she passed on the legacy of always staying together and being there for each other. Her passing leaves a void in the family that can never be filled.
Colleen and family would like to thank Dr. Rassouli, Nurse Paula and staff of the Cancer Clinic, staff of Medical 3C, Dr. Buehner, most especially her Home Nurses Cathy and Keisha from Bayshore for their Care and compassion, as well as Tracy's Dream.
No more fears and no regrets.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tracy's Dream, or an Animal Assistance Group of your choice. A Private family Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
