GAGNÉ, Josephine Ella “Josie” (nee Young) (1940 – 2024)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Josephine on Saturday, January 6, 2024.
Born on June 2, 1940, Josie was the beloved wife of the late Raymond. She is survived by her sons Mark (Tatevik Sarkisyan) and Eduard (Han) and granddaughter Denise. Predeceased by her parents Teresa Coghill (nee McCoy) and Edward Young. Sister of Mary Stott (late Ian) and the late Teresa "Jean" Spooner (Ken). Josephine will be fondly remembered by nieces Leeann, Marney, Mary Beth, Monique and Dionne; nephews Jake and Tavis.
Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Monday, January 15, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard Majella Church at 11:00 a.m. with Father Alex Saurianthadathil officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
