Pat passed away peacefully at Sault Area Hospital on November 21, 2024, at the age of 86 with her daughters and best friends by her side.
Predeceased by her husband Gerald Gagnon. Mother of Barbara Gagnon (Conrad), Janice Laliberte (Rick) and predeceased by son Dan Gagnon. Grandmother of Richard Laliberte (Krysia) and Jerry Laliberte, she adored her boys. Great Grandmother of Cole & Maya Laliberte. They were the light of her life, she so loved spending time with them.
Daughter of the late Julia & Lloyd Fantham. Sister of Colleen Weyer and Kathy Adair (John). Predeceased by brothers Butch and Bob Fantham and sister Connie Doucet. Sister-in-law of Louis Doucet, Ylonde Fantham and Jo-Marie Fantham as well as sister-in-Law to Barb Boyer and Ken Gagnon (Leona). Predeceased by many of the Gagnon family who she loved dearly. Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Pat was a great cook and always made room for unexpected guests at our dinner table. Dad was always bringing someone home for dinner and she would always find a way to have enough for everyone. She loved to bake and was known for delicious desserts. Pat was a very talented lady and over the years created many beautiful wedding cakes and floral arrangements for family and friends.
A special thank you to her son in law Rick who has been her partner and chauffeur for many appointments and shopping excursions. Thank you to hall monitor Marsha over the few short months she come to know you she really appreciated your friendship. She always looked forward to your conversations. A special thank you to Neva and Ray Negus who she loved deeply and always knew they would be there for her and her family. Barb and Janice don’t know how to thank you for being there for us. A special thank you to the ICU team who were so caring and looked after her you all went above and beyond.
