It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robyn Hunter, who departed from this world on Thursday June 13.

Robyn was a beloved sister, wife, mother, friend, grandmother, aunt and daughter, whose life touched so many with her warmth, kindness and unwavering strength.

Born on June 3, 1965, Robyn grew up in a close-knit family where she quickly became the heart and soul. Her bond with her siblings, Christopher and Jamie, was one of unbreakable love and support.  As a daughter, she brought immense pride and joy to her parents, always the embodiment of grace and compassion.

Robyn found the love of her life in her husband, Jeff Strickland. Their relationship was a testament to a deep and enduring partnership, characterized by mutual respect, understanding and an abundance of love. Together they created a home filled with laughter, support and countless beautiful memories.

To her friends, Robyn was a beacon of light. Her infectious smile, thoughtful nature, and ability to listen without judgement made her a cherished companion to many. Her friendships were marked by her generosity of spirit and an ever-present willingness to lend a hand.

Robyn’s legacy is one of love, kindness, and an unspeakable belief in the goodness of people. She leaves behind a family and community forever changed by her presence yet strengthened by her memory.

With her husband, Jeff, her siblings, children and a wide circle of friends who will miss her dearly,

A Celebration of Robyn’s Life will be held at a later date, where all who knew her are invited to come and honour her memory.

Rest in peace Robyn.

You will be forever in our hearts.
