Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at the age of 88 with family at his side. Beloved husband of the late Vera. Loving father of Joanne Bremner (Ernie). Proud grandpa of Eric Bremner (Sarah) and Neil Bremner (Sydney) and great grandfather of Serena Bremner, Leo Bremner, Camden Bremner, Brenden Churchill, Ceana Churchill and Jax Bremner. Dear brother of Eddy (Paulette), Nita, Olga (late Sam) and predeceased by his siblings Labo (late Cecile), Norman (late Armene), Donald (Doris), Pat, Henry (late Margaret), Leonard, Stella (late Stan), and Alma (Tommy). Also predeceased by his parents Domenica and Dominic Grassi. Brother-in-law of Florence, George (late Helen), the late Eddie, late Fred (late Sheila) and Colombe. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Memorial Service to follow in the chapel at 1 pm. Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25 in the lounge. Interment beside his honey in Winnipeg will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25 would be greatly appreciated.
