Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, in his 92nd year.
Beloved husband and best friend of 64 years to Betty (nee Taylor).
Loved father of Bill (Stephanie), Diana (Jerry) and the late Robert (Lori). Loving grandfather of Brittany (Dan), Jaime-Leigh (Travis), Amy, Jason, Braden, Shawna (Trent) and Kayla (Rob).
Great grandfather of Nixon and Oaklynn.
Dear brother of Harold (the late Vi), Charles (Toni), Mae (the late Bill) Luxford, the late Raymond (Pat Leach) and the late Douglas (Dorothy), and brother-in-law of Bev (Marion) Taylor. Fondly remembered by the Taylor family.
Predeceased by his parents Charles and Gladys.
Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Thursday from 7-9 pm. and at Arkell United Church, 600 Arkell Rd., Arkell on Friday from 10-11 am. Funeral service will be held at Arkell United Church on Friday, July 5, 2019 at 11 am, followed by interment at Farnham Cemetery. Reception to follow in the Arkell United Church C. E. Wing.
