Passed away peacefully, at the Sault Area Hospital, on February 16, 2020 in her 97th year. Predeceased by her loving husband, Alberto. Delia will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her children Gabriel (Robin) and Roberto. Nonna of Davy Siegwart (Jayme), Barrett Greganti (CJ) and Barbie Siegwart (Gino). Great Nonna of Lamishia Siegwart, Tamika Idehen, Isla Siegwart and Gionno Bazzoni. Sister of the late Dino Serafini. She will be missed by her brother in law, Georgio (Gabriella) and predeceased by her in laws, Emelia (late Elio) Feri, Gina (late Mario) Muratori, Aldo (late Eva) and all his other siblings in Italy. Daughter of the late Joseph and Angela Serafini and daughter in law of the late Angelo and Virginia Greganti. Zia Delia to many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her friends and family, especially Rosaria Pedetella, Maria Pedetella (for bringing our Mom communion), Licia Orazietti and Serenella (Tony) Catello. Delia loved to share with people from bouquets of flowers from her many flower beds to the endless baking for church and weddings to her mouth watering many course meals for family and friends, always eating last, after everyone was comfortable. All she ever wanted in return was to see smiles or witness people going for seconds. She strived to make people and pets happy. Even though you’re gone, the prayers you said over us again and again have kept us going. Things will never be the same, but we must let go and adjust to life without you. Family and Friends may call at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (corner of Cathcart and St. James St) on Friday February 21, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at 1:00 p.m. at St. Veronica’s Church (559 Douglas St) with Father Ron Ambeault officiating. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum. The family would like to thank the nurses on 3C at the Sault Area Hospital, her home nurse, Patty and the Bayshore nurses, especially Brandy & Leo. Memorial donations in Delia’s memory can be made to St Veronica’s Church or ARCH and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
