GREGOIRE, Ruth Elizabeth Joan 'Betty'

Peacefully passed away at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Romeo Gregoire and the late Roy Rickard. Cherished mother of Teresa Parish (Victor), Christopher Rickard, late Melvin Rickard (Barbara), Reg Rickard (Jane Mathewson) and the late Colleen Bourgeois (nee Rickard). Step-mother of Alex (Michelle), Bruce (Janice), Glen, Jane Solbeck (Clint), Grant (Marianne) and Christine Evans (Rick). Betty will be greatly missed by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loved sister of Nola Napper (Ken) and the late Yolanda, and late brothers Wayne and Jimmy. She will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Betty was a feisty spirit bringing a lively spark to everything she did. She was truly loved and will be missed by many. You are gone from our sight but never gone from our hearts. Special thanks to Dr. Wytsma, Dr. Zehr and Dr. Buehner for the compassionate care they provided.  Betty loved angels and was comforted by ARCH’s angels at the end of her long journey. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 1 pm until time of the service in the chapel at 3 pm. Rev. Sam Norbo officiating.
