Peacefully at ARCH on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the age of 46.
Tammy will be remembered by the love of her life and soulmate, Ed Simard. Mother of Collin Haman (Ariel) and Lucy Haman.
Daughter of Brenda Semande and predeceased by her father Michael Semande. Sister of Tina Secord (David). Daughter-in-law of Ed and Joyce Simard and sister-in-law of Melissa Simard (Theresa Neveu). Special friend of Juanita, Paul and Audrey.
Tammy was an outgoing, loving, and caring woman whose children were her life. Not a day went by that she didn’t mention them, say how proud of them she was and how much she loved them.
She was an accomplished writer, poet and public speaker, whose work was published and touched by those who read and heard her words. She was also a fantastic chef with genuine passion and talent. Live music and dancing were some of her most loved things. She had a real zest for life, an infectious laugh and a smile that lit up every room. She made a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Cremation has taken place as per Tammy’s wishes.
A Celebration of Her Life will take place at a later date.
Thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, RPN’s, and PSW’s at ARCH and the Sault Area Hospital for the care given to Tammy.
