HAMBLY, Nyle Harry

Passed away peacefully and quietly at Extendicare Van Daele, surrounded by the love of his family on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the age of 88. Husband of Marguerite (nee Turner). Devoted and loving father of Sue Barr (Dale), Jody (Patti), Pam Cook (Allen) and Stephen (Melanie). Fun loving Papa of Curtis Hambly (Kim), Claire Jarrell (Matt), Corey Cook (Melissa), Carly Davey (Blake), Benjamin Hambly (Kathleen), Lia Hambly (Kevin), Rachel Hambly (Dylan) and Hannah Hambly. Great Papa of  Maddy, Makensy and Mitchell Jarrell, Hunter Cook, Kaiya Davey, Rylie Hambly, Elinor Hambly-Quinte, Sterling and Xavier Reid. Predeceased by his brother Beverley (late Jennie) and sister Muriel Fremlin (late Bill). Brother-in-law of John Turner (Shirley), Ken Turner (Helen), Chuck Turner (Evedine), Elane Turner, late Ann Wilson (Delmar (Dot) and Brenda Frayn (Chuck). Survived by many nieces and nephews. At Nyle’s request there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Nyle’s Life will be held at a later date. Donations to the Echo Bay Firefighters Association or Extendicare Van Daele Residents Council would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Van Daele for all the care, compassion and love that they gave dad while he was a resident there.
