Passed away peacefully at the Lady Dunn Health Centre on Sunday August 7, 2016 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Estelle Haney. Loving father of Allen Haney (Lillian), Kathy Culhane, Steve Haney, Jim Haney and Carol Maxwell. Devoted grandpa of Kelly, Maggie, Melissa, Micheal (Saelle) and Katie (Connor). Proud great grandpa of Destiny. Dear brother of Tom Haney (Keitha), late Wendell Haney (late Norma), late Paul Haney and late Robert “Bob” Haney. Jim will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the P.M. Gilmartin Funeral Home (140 Churchill Avenue, Wawa, 1-800-439-4937) on Friday August 12, 2016 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. A funeral service will follow at the First United Church at 12:00 p.m. with Mrs. Lorna Chiupka officiating.
