It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Barb Harten on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice with her daughter Tanya by her side.

Beloved wife of Bruce Harten whom will miss her dearly. Loving mother to Tanya Lunelli (Steve), Justin Lunelli (Shileen) and the late Jason Lunelli. Grandma to Jack, Dylan and MacKayla Storms, Kieran, Colton and Scarlet Johnson. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Georgina Boyer (nee Thibault) and her siblings Ken, Terry and Georgie. Sister to Tami Boyer and Tom Boyer (Robin). Step mother to Braidy Harten (Dre), Brooke Johnson (Darren) and Holly Bangs (Kevin). Loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews.

She will also be missed greatly by her friends from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 374 in Richards Landing where she was actively involved as a member and volunteer. Barb could often be found enjoying a game of cards with her friends or working on the flower beds. She will also be missed by her friends from her long career at Agero in Sault Ste. Marie.

The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at ARCH for the dignified care she received while at the facility, especially Jac. Their level of care and professionalism is unmatched and greatly appreciated.

She may no longer be with us in body but her spirit will continue to live on in our hearts. We are at peace knowing she is free of pain, may she rest in peace.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 374 (1534 10th Sideroad, Richards Landing). In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate memorial donations be made to ARCH.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E, 705-759-2522). Online condolences and tributes can be made and found at www.arthurfuneralhome.com
