HAWDON, Gerald Carl

Called to be with his Saviour while in the arms of his loving wife on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Adele (nee Aikens) for 49 years. Loving father of Wendy Hord (Mark) and Olivia Johnston (Phil).  Proud Papa of Miranda, Nicole, Clarke, Dylan, Ethan and Kadin.  Predeceased by his parents Carl and Olive Hawdon.  Dear brother of Ron (Pat), Gord (Gloria) and Kenny (Maria).  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Family and friends are invited to Free Methodist Church (753 McNabb St.) on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.  Memorial service to follow at 2 pm.  Pastor Wesley Wood officiating.  Spring interment Maple Grove Cemetery, St. Joseph Island.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Christian Radio Station “Gospel Opportunities Inc.” or to the SAH Renal Dialysis Care Fund would be appreciated.  (Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre 705-759-2522).  Expressions of sympathy may be offered at www.arthurfunerahome.com.
