HEALEY, Brooklyn Elizabeth

Brooklyn passed away peacefully in the NICU at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto on January 17, 2017 in the arms of her loving parents Derek and Melissa.  She was born on December 28, 2016, and after a courageous effort has gone on to be in God’s hands. She will be greatly missed by her older brother Aiden and identical twin sister Ashley, and forever in the hearts of proud grandparents Raimo and Bonnie Maenpaa and Malcolm and Shirley Healey, and great grandmother Elia Maenpaa.  She will also be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins. We would like to thank Dr. Fam, Julie Briglio, Dr. Keunen, Dr. Chan and all the Doctors and Nurses and medical staff who cared for Brooklyn while in the NICU at Mount Sinai Hospital.  A special thank you to Brooklyn’s primary nurse Lindsay who always went above and beyond to ensure our little angel was comfortable and well cared for.
