Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on August 1, 2018 at the age of 85. Predeceased by her loving husband Otto. Lovingly remembered by her children, Carol Swift (John), Ruth Vernelli (late Charles), Wendy Hooey, Judy Hess (Terry) and Cindy (Dan). Forever remembered by her grandchildren, Michael, Sean, Michelle, Melissa, Scott, Laura, Jesse and Jacob. Great grandmother of Dale, Ian, Grace, Aiden, Cole, Tia, Olivia and Nash. Sister of, Ray Piche (Marilyn), Toots Edmond (Andy), Bo Lajoie (Leo), Pat Cain (Jim), David Piche (Diana) and the Hess family in Germany. Daughter of the late Noah and Jeanette Piche. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank the hospital urology unit, I.C.U. staff and the Great Northern Retirement Home staff for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Family and friends are invited to the O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St (corner of Cathcart and St. James St) on Tuesday August 7, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. for a Memorial Visitation. Memorial Service to follow in the chapel at 1:00 p.m.
