Peacefully at the Van Daele Extendicare on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the age of 88. Predeceased by his wife Adele. Father of Clifford (late Jane), James (Susan), Carol Devost (Reg), late Larry (late Maureen) and Allan (Leanne). Step father of Deborah Mathewson (Don), Ian McLeod (Wendy), Jeffery McLeod (Laurie), Lorne McLeod, Donald McLeod (France), Allison McLeod and Lianne McLeod (Rob). Grandfather and great grandfather of many. Brother of Wesley (Evelyn), Eileen MacIntrye (late Cecil), Marjorie Head (Gord), Phyllis McKenzie (Reg), Gordon and the late Gary. Also survived by Margaret Hill, mother of their children. Wilbert farmed in Thessalon Township and later in life worked for Algoma Steel.
