Rick passed away peacefully and surrounded by love at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, August 2nd, 2024.

He is now reunited with his parents, Smokey and Alice Hodgkins, along with his brothers Doug and Billy-Joe. He was the proud and loving father of Kenny Frigault and Ricky Frigault (Amber Taylor). Proud grandpa of the late Kobe, Gabriel, KJ and Annabelle, Ainsley, Farrah and Gage. He also leaves behind the love of his life Brenda, although separated they remained good friends and loved each other dearly.

Rick had a love for the Rolling Stones and older cars, in his spare time if he wasn't listening to their music or talking about older cars, because newer cars just were not built the same, he was getting his hands dirty remodelling and painting them. He loved to play the guitar and spend time with his boys, he was there for them whenever they needed, and called them everyday just to check in and see how they were doing, and if they wanted company. He will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved him, especially his boys Kenny and Ricky. He had many friends throughout his life, some he is now reunited with and others he will be leaving behind those being his best friends Bernie Nichols and Chris Sharpe, thank you both for always loving him unconditionally and being there for him, you both meant so much to him.

We would like to thank the staff in the ICU at the Sault Area Hospital for all your hard work and keeping him comfortable, your kindness and work did not go unnoticed, and we appreciate you all very much.

There will be a celebration of life for all friends and family on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 2 pm until 4 pm at 757A Highway 17 North, Aweres Township (Across from Heyden Fuels). If desired, memorial contributions payable by cheque or online to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East 705-759-2522). Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be offered at www.arthurfuneralhome.com
