Peacefully at the FJ Davey Home with his family by his side on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Noreen Hudson. Loving father of Brian (Maureen), Wendy (Billy), Wayne (Dina) and Vicki (Bob). Proud Poppa of 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Dear brother of Muriel Gemmel (Wally), Marlene Lavalee (late Les)(companion Jim), Shirley Sutton (Mac) and the late Walter Hudson (Florence). Elmer will be missed by his nieces, nephews and many dear friends. A celebration of life will take place at the Moose Lodge on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 1 pm until 6 pm. Special thanks to Jessica, Brittney, Mary, Kim, Jody and all the other staff members at the FJ Davey home for the special care and attention that they gave to our dad. Proudly served the Royal Canadian Navy WWII 1943 – 1946. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the FJ Davey Home would be appreciated by the family.
