IRVINE, Norma Jean

Peacefully at Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at the age of 71, with family and friends at her side. Beloved wife of the late Jim. Loving mother of James (Michelle) and Julie Mador (Sheldon). Proud Grandmother of Malynda (Venessa), Summer and Autum (Kane) Mador, Erik Deplonty, and David and Cassy Wilson. Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Ellen Hicks. Dear sister of the late Ken (Joan), Ted (Marcie), Bill (Gail), and Judy. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Norma will also be missed by her two best friends Cheryl Ambeault (Jay) and Kathy Dragger, and many others. A celebration of Norma’s life will be held on Monday, May 15, 2017 at her home in Goulais River from 2 - 4pm. Interment Holy Trinity Cemetery, St. Joseph Island on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 11am. Memorial contributions to ARCH would be greatly appreciated.
