It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Serge “Pirate” Jacob surrounded by family in Sault Ste. Marie on November 4th, 2024, at the age of 84.
Son of the late Armand and Grace Jacob. Brother of the late Paul (late Janet) Jacob and survived by sister Diane (late Normand) Fournier. Much adored uncle of Michelle MacPherson, Guy (Danielle) Jacob, Line (John) Towsley, Nicole (Mathew) Sizer and Joanne (Jeff) Scott. Special great-uncle to many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their profound thanks to the staff of F.J. Davey Home 3 Apple Orchard for the many years of outstanding care and for their compassion during his final days. A special heartfelt appreciation to Phil Coutu who provided exceptional care since the beginning and thank you to Nurse Practitioner Sandra Coutu for her kindness on his final day. Thank you to his facility provider Dr. Patterson for several years of care.
