With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing after a short battle with cancer at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, May 23, 2025 at the age of 81.

Cherished husband of Barbara for nearly 59 years. Devoted father of Kenna Withers (Wayne), Michael (Tracy), Stephen (Angela). Proud grampa (wampa) of David Withers and Travis Johnson. Fun loving furdad of Josie. She will sadly miss his perfectly cut vegetables.

Loving son of the late Mark and Jean Johnson and son-in-law of the late Grenville and Joyce Clark.
Loving brother the late Marion Godfrey (Damon), Gwen Wolowich (late Walter), late Ronald Johnson (late Rose), late Gerald Johnson (Sharron), late Beth Fiaconni (Henry), late Lynn Johnson (Cathy) and Leslie Johnson (Shirley).

Brother-in-law to David Clark (Karen) and Tracey Wilson and the late Grenville Clark Jr.
Adored and much-loved uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Ken was a man of few words, but you always knew how he felt about something.
He was a very hard worker retiring after 38 years at Algoma Steel and almost 20 years working towards a second pension at Pino’s.

Of all his accomplishments in life, his family was his greatest.

Our family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to his healthcare team at Sault Area Hospital, with special appreciation to “his girls” on 3C.

Family and friends are welcome to the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E, 705-759-2522) on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm for a Come and Go Visitation. As a die-hard Leafs and Yankees fan the family encourages you to arrive in your favourite Leafs or Yankees attire. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation or Miners for Cancer would be appreciated by the family.
