JONES, Eileen (Lala)

(May 26, 1947 – June 4, 2016) – Peacefully at home, Eileen lost her three year battle to cancer. Beloved wife of Sidney for 48 years. Loving mother of Lisa Jones, the late baby Joseph, Rose Jones, Janet Jones (Chris), and Sidney Jones Jr. (Debra). Proud Grandma of 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Adelaide and late Isadore Barry. Dear sister of Garnet Barry (Arla), Georgina Lesage, Charlie Barry (late Arlene), Joan Belleau (Terry), Randy Barry (Caroline), Sandy Barry (Jen), Ron Barry, and Debbie Jones (Casey). Sister-in-law of Skip Jones (Carol), late Martina Buller (late Gordon), Annalise Mount (Dennis), late Steven Jones (Helena), Dennis Jones (late Evelyn), Theresa Jones (Cal), Joe Jones, Caroline Barry (Randy), late Brian Jones, and Verna Sewel (Doug). Daughter-in-law of the late Adeline and late Joe Jones. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Eileen was a Personal Support Worker in Garden River for over 30 years. A private family service will be held at Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (492 Wellington St. East, 705-759-2522). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Down Syndrome Society would be greatly appreciated.
