Passed away suddenly with family by his side on Monday, May 30, 2016 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Joyce for 63 years. Caring father of Michael (Georgia), Mark (Esther) and Martin (Patsy). Proud Grandpa of Jessica, Johanna, Adam, Jennifer, Aaron, Colin, Daina, Andrea and Mitchell. Predeceased by his parents Saima and Gabriel Katajamaki. Great Grandpa to many. Brother of the late Thelma Abbott (Max) and the late Eddie (Iona). Brother-in-law of Alfred (Pat), the late Gerald St. Amand (Catherine), and the late Margaret White. Ron will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends are invited to attend at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre for a memorial visitation on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 2 until 4 pm. Memorial contributions to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
