Peacefully passed away surrounded by family at the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the age of 53. Loving husband of Nanci. Proud Dad of Marty (Julie) and Erica (Kyle). Grandpa of Braden and Jared. Beloved son of Anne Kennis and the late Edward Kennis. Dear brother of Edna (Dan), Ed (Lorri) and Ron (Charlotte). Son-in-law of Grant and Jean McLeod. Brother-in-law of Grant McLeod (Faye) and Greg McLeod. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Special uncle to Sammi-Jo MacLean. Survived by many aunts and uncles. Family and friends are invited to attend a come and go celebration of life on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Church (293 St George’s Ave.) from 2 until 4 pm. Special thank you to all the doctors and nurses in the ICU at Sault Area Hospital, Emergency and Fire Dept. Our sincere thanks to CCAC, Red Cross, Bayshore, and a special thank you to Fern, Lucas, Billie-Jo, Donna-Rae, Kim, Shannon and Linda for all the wonderful care. You guys were his angels.
