KING, Lloyd Merlyn

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 1, 2017 at the Algoma Manor in Thessalon in his 92nd year.  Pre-deceased by his loving wife of 64 years, Norma King (nee Boden), he is survived by his children Judy Bailey (David), Beverly Eagleson (Brad), Lloyd King (Jane) and Don King (Trish).  Dear grandfather of Steven (Kristin), Deris (Chuck), Lisa (Steve), Kristy (Graham), Ryan (Candace), Tyler (Sara), Katherine (Sarah), Geoff and cherished great grandfather of 11.  Dear son of the late Percy and Maggie King, brother of George King (late Ruth), Jack King (Barbara), Doris Goodmurphy (Floyd), Donna Sherlock (late Gerry), Gordon King (late Murdena), Shirley Nicholson (late Gary), late Alice Thompson (late Jim), late Edith Martin (late Tom), late Orville King (late Greta), late Leonard King, late Earl King (late Agnus) and the late Ronald King (late Betty).  Dear brother in law of Bill Boden (late Pat), Don Boden (Sue), late Mary Morrison (late Harvey), late Barbara McLeod (late Gerald) and the late Helen Boden.  Lloyd will always be fondly remembered by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends Monday, February 6th between 7 – 9 pm at Beggs Funeral Home in Thessalon with the funeral service on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 1:00 pm from the funeral home with Helen Smith officiating.  Cremation to follow with interment in Pine Grove Cemetery at a later date.  Memorial contributions to the North Shore Health Network Thessalon site or  Algoma Manor would be appreciated by the family.  Expressions of sympathy to the King family may be made at www.beggsfh.com.
