KLIM, Michael 'Mike'

Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at St. Catharines General Hospital on Monday May 8, 2017 at the age of 55. Dearly loved father of Julia and Andrew Klim.  Sadly missed by his brother John Klim and his cousins Milada Opato and Mike Lucacena. Predeceased by his parents Matthew and Mary Klim. Survived by his wife Mimi Calabrese.  Mike was a well respected teacher for 25 years at Denis Morris Catholic Secondary School, where he will be sadly missed by his colleagues and students. Mike was actively involved in the life of the school, coaching both golf and cross-country and supervising the weight training facility. At Mike's request cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 3 pm at St. Julia's Church, Glenridge Avenue, St. Catharines. In memory of Mike, donations to Denis Morris Catholic Secondary School would be appreciated by his family.
