LaBranche, Clayton Lionel

(August 15, 1961 – March 20, 2016) - Peacefully at the Blind River District Health Centre on Sunday March 20, 2016.  Clayton LaBranche in his 55th year, beloved and devoted husband of Felomena LaBranche of Mississauga First Nation for 35 years.  Loving father of Vickie LaBranche ( Mike ) of Toronto and Zachary LaBranche ( Marlena ) of Waterloo.  Adoring Grandpa to Rachel, Lila, Domenic, Mya and Emmanuel.  Dear brother of Cheryl Carter, Iris Martin, David, Henry, Joanne and Corey Buswa.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Special nephew of The Late Douglas Daybutch.  Clayton was an avid outdoorsman with a tremendous love of hunting and fishing. In the privacy of his own home he was very connected spiritually to his Anishinabe culture and way of life.  He will also be remembered for his love and devotion to his family.  Friends may call at the Mississauga First Nation Band Hall on Tuesday March 22 from 7pm until time of service on Thursday March 24, 2016 at 11am followed by cremation.  Donations to the Diabetes Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation gratefully accepted.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to Menard Funeral Home, Blind River, Ontario.  www.menardfh.com
