With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Lambert-McCoy, a devoted mother of Kim, Denny (Rhonda), Rachelle (Brad) and Danny, cherished grandmother of Kaitlyn, Hunter, Denver, Chase, Chanel and Lexi, and beloved member of a large and loving family. Born and raised in the close-knit community of Michipicoten Harbour, Marilyn grew up alongside her eight brothers and sisters Alex, Shirley, Victor, Brian, Danny, Arlene, Debbie and Diane, nurtured by the love of her wonderful parents Bill and Doris McCoy.
Marilyn was a very proud mother of her four children, each of whom she would boast about to everyone who crossed her path. Her love extended to her six grandchildren, whose accomplishments and lives brought her endless pride and joy.
In her younger days, Marilyn could be found on the baseball diamond, the golf course, or the rink, channeling her energy into the sports she loved. As years passed, she became an enthusiastic fan, cheering passionately for her favorite hockey, baseball, and football teams.
A lover of the great outdoors, Marilyn found peace along the shores of Lake Superior. She enjoyed the view of the trees and water and the serenity they brought. She found joy and comfort in the simple sound of rain falling on the roof.
Marilyn’s unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and the countless lives she touched with her strength, determination, and spirited nature.
