LAVIGNE, Rose Marie (nee Lebel)

Rose passed away peacefully in her 78th year on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at West Nipissing General Hospital in Sturgeon Falls. She is survived by her common-law spouse of 42 years, William (Willy) Landry, brother Leo Lebel (Rose), daughters Jocelyne Vaillant (Peter) and Suzanne Turcotte (Peter), and sons Ronald Lavigne (Val) and Denis Lavigne. Also, predeceased by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Hector Lebel, brother Andy Lebel (Lucette), daughter Jeannine Deschamps (Adrien), son Marcel Lavigne and grandson Michel Deschamps. Rose will be sadly missed by all 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many other extended family and friends. We would like to extend our gratitude to Dr. Susini, Dr. Desjardin and all of the staff at West Nipissing General Hospital for all the care and compassion given to our mother. The family will be receiving friends at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Friday, August 12th, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Rose’s life will be held on Saturday August 13th at 11am in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel.
