With deep sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Jeanette Lazarovitch into the loving arms of her Lord, at the FJ Davey Home on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Stanley and cherished mom of Carol McFarlane (late Dwight) and Ken (Anona). Treasured grandmother of Michael and Thomas Lazarovitch. Loving daughter of the late Michael and Mary Ksionzek. Beloved sister of the late Pauline Hermiston, Helen Parente (Rosario) and JoAnn Massicotte (Art). Dear aunt of Debra Hermiston-Cyr, Randy Hermiston (Carol), Luanne Jakobi (Ed) and Denise McKay (Jack). Mom was a gentle, loving soul who always put others needs before her own. She gave great support to her grandsons whom she loved dearly. Mom was an avid sports fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays. In her younger years, she was a high scoring 5-pin bowler, and as a result, a good bocce player. Family and friends will miss her warm smile, hugs and devotion. We wish to extend deep appreciation to the wonderful staff of the FJ Davey Home (Apple Orchard 3), for their care of our mom – gentle, compassionate hands that were so tender, especially in her last days. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, July 31, 2017 from 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass to be celebrated from Our Lady of Good Counsel on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 11 am. Father Paul Conway officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society or the FJ Davey Home Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
