LEISTNER, Lily Elvira (Seabloom)

Peacefully passed away on Thursday November 10, 2016, at the age of 90.  Predeceased by her beloved husband, Jack Carl. Devoted mother of Diana (Jim), Bill (Susan), Steven (Bonnie), and Robert (Darlene).  Grandmother of Amy (Craig), Ian (Barbara), Cindy (Daniel), Shannon (Will), Tom (Allisa), Stephanie (Sean), Andrew (Katie), Kyle, and Scott. Great grandmother of Carter, Cayden, Leisi, Wyatt, Colin, Gavin, Cody, Hailey, Julia, Samantha, Emily, and Nathan.  Survived by sisters Margaret, Maire (late Len), Helen (Don), and predeceased by sister Ella and brothers Harry, Henry and Len. Also remembered by many dear nieces and nephews. A beloved teacher by many students of the high schools of Sault Ste. Marie and an active member of the community for many years. The family would like to express their gratitude for the compassionate care by nurses and staff of Extendicare Maple View in Sault Ste. Marie and at Albright Manor in Beamsville. There will be a private family service at a later date.
