June 10, 1937 – August 13, 2020
In the arms of her daughter, Lil passed quietly and gracefully at the Sault Area Hospital at age 83. Finally reunited with her beloved husband Bud after 31 years. Survived by her children Raymond and Lee-Ann (Warren). Loved by son-in-law Rick. Loved fiercely by her only grandchild Neesa (Dom) and their unborn child. Will be missed dearly by her brothers Marcel Deschamps (Hugette) and George Deschamps (Brenda). Predeceased by her parents George and Anna Deschamps and brothers Gerald (the late Darquise) and Larry (the late Rita). Remembered fondly by the Lendrum family and many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by her best friends Pat, Dolores, Caroline, Linda and Chris.
Mom, you may have been failing in your final months but you still told me when to put out my hummingbird feeder, how much Dijon to add to your potato salad recipe; you still gave Neesa heck for being late for work everyday and always picked up when she called and nagged Ray about his drinking.
You loved us unconditionally and selflessly. You were our daily routine and it was our honour to serve you. We are left heart broken and gasping for air but we promise you that we’ll stick together and carry on your undying love.
No more pain now you can rest in peace.
