LEWIS, Gordon Horace Jr.

At the Algoma Manor on Friday, March 10, 2017 in his 88th year.  Beloved husband and best friend of Joanne (nee Depew) for 63 years. Loving father of Pam (Roger), Susan (Gil), Stephen (Susan) and Mary.  Dear grandpa of Rachel, Matthew, Meaghan, Katie, Jared, Derek, Rory, Carson, Lucas and Caleb.  Great Grandpa to many. Brother of Dorn Lewis (late Betty) and Diane Larue (Leo). Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Gordon was born in 1929 to Gordon H and Kay Lewis.  He served the community for many years as a Chartered Accountant at Boston Motors; Kelly, McKay, Lewis, Marinich and Stefanizzi and BDO Ward Mallette. His favourite pass time was golf and he was a life-long member of the Sault Country Club.  Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Tuesday March 14, 2017 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.  Memorial service to follow in the chapel at 7pm.  If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice.  Special thank you to the doctors and staff at the Algoma Manor and the Alzheimer Society for all their help and to the nurses from We Care, especially Mickey (you helped him enjoy life in his final years).  Messages of condolence may be offered at www.arthurfuneralhome.com
