On Sunday, April 20, 2025 David passed away peacefully in his sleep at Crescent Care in Fergus, Ontario. David was born on August 31, 1952 in Toronto, Ontario. He was the husband of Nancy (nee Wissell). Loving father of William (Jodie), Robert (Mariechen) and predeceased by infant son, George. Devoted grandfather of Darcie (Will), Reilly, Gabriel and Marcus. Great grandfather of Hazel and soon to be Baby White. Son of the late Helen and the late Viljo (Bill) Lind. Brother of Elaina Veldt. Predeceased by his in-laws Vera and Armand Wissell. Brother-in-law of Judy Kerr (Bob), Nancy Wissell (late Wayne) and Keith Wissell (Laurie). Uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
At David’s request, cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at a later date in Sault Ste. Marie, where he was raised. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
