Karl Waldemar Lindback passed away peacefully at the Mauno Kaihla Koti on Tuesday, March 5, 2002 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Aila. Loving father of Eva Kalliomaa (Kalervo), Vicki Mcgrayne (friend Steve), Harry (Donna), Kenneth (Angela), David (Sandy), Marlene Allyn (late Tim), Brian (Linda), Mailis Lewis (Brian), and Rainer Huhtala (Perry). Grandfather of Mark (Kelly), Jason (Cindy), Marty (Cathie), Karl, Kevin, Nicole, Mika, Daniel, Steven, Laura, Kristy, Jonathan, Amy, Alysha, Mark, Jean, Brandon, Joshua, Karen, Terry, and Kristine. Great grandfather of 7. Karl will be remembered by his family in Finland. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road, 945-7758) on Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, March 9, at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
