MACDONALD, James Allen ‘Jimmy’

James Allen Macdonald, formerly of Hamilton, passed away peacefully, in Sault Ste. Marie, at Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH), on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, in his 57th year. Much loved husband of 34 years to Paulette (nee Dumoulin). Son of Bruce Macdonald (Miriam) of Hamilton. Brother of Kathryn Gallagher and uncle of Cristine Gallagher also of Hamilton. Jimmy was predeceased by his mother Marion (nee Jenson) in 2000, and niece Emily Gallagher in 2015. He will also be missed by a large extended family and his many friends. Thanks to the devoted care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Sault Area/Algoma District Cancer Program, CCAC, and Arch Hospice. In keeping with his wishes Jim will be cremated and no services will be held. Memorial donations in James’ memory may be made directly to ARCH Hospice and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
