Peacefully at ARCH on Saturday, April 20, 2025, at the age of 74.
Survived by his wife Jeannette MacKay (nee Lacasse). Father of Stacey MacKay and the late Mark MacKay.
Predeceased by his parents Neil Sr. and Joyce MacKay (nee Mooney). Brother of the late Judy Sepkowski (late Ted), late Neil MacKay Jr. (Suzanne), late Gail Slater (Roger), Gwen MacKay, Rhonda Piazza (Rob), the late Ron MacKay (late Robin) and Ian MacKay (Debi). Brother-in-law to Eddie St. Onge (late Donna), Sam St. Onge, Leon St. Onge (Joanne) and the late Henry St. Onge (Mary). Uncle to many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Sandy made many friends and enjoyed people. He also enjoyed working the clock at the Soo Greyhound games for over 40 years.
As per Sandy’s wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no services.
