MacMILLAN, Gayle

On Wednesday, January 11, 2017, Gayle left us peacefully to be with her late husband Stanley Gerald (Gerry).  She is survived by her sons Jeff (Lesley-Anne) and Marty (Donna), grandchildren Haley, Aidan and Scott. Words cannot express Jeff and Marty’s eternal gratitude to Bill and Wanda McQueen, Annmarie and Frank Casola and Robert MacMillan who with assisted with many parts of Gayle’s daily life over many years. In addition to Helen Smith and Shirley Kindred for being there when mom needed her. A special thank you to the helping friends at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice and 3-S nursing staff at Sault Area Hospital and Drs. Beuhner and Bowen. Active for over 20 years in the Sault Ste. Marie Board of Education, Gayle’s focus was to ensure education came first for children of Sault Ste. Marie. A private family ceremony will be held at Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre.
