With broken hearts, the family announces Ron’s unexpected passing at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at the age of 52 with family at his side.
Loving husband of Lisa Mallette (nee Sheedy) for over 30 years. Devoted father of William Mallette. Beloved son of Patricia (Pat) and the late Eugene Mallette. Dear brother of Shelly Mallette (Skip), Linda Gravel (Eric), and the late Paula Mallette. Son-in-law of Sheila and the late Ted Sheedy. Brother-in-law of Andrew Sheedy (Meredith), and Chris Sheedy (Marsha). Ron will also be fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. He will be missed by his fur babies Captain and Lola.
Ron enjoyed his daily Tim Horton’s gatherings, fishing, music and spending time with his boy. He was always a joker and an ear to anyone.
A celebration of Ron’s life will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions to the NSHN Foundation – Blind River would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Menard Funeral Home.
