It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our loving friend, husband, and father Thomas Gerald Mandolesi.  Gerry peacefully passed away on April 10, 2025.  He was born in 1940 in Sault. Ste. Marie, Ontario to loving parents that arrived in Canada in the 1930’s from Italy.  Gerry spent hours playing hockey, listening to music & on his motorcycle as a youth.  Gerry went on to make a career working at  Algoma Steel for 35 years. Travelling on his Honda Goldwing & woodworking became some of his favourite pastimes as an adult.  Many will remember Gerry cruising around town with his beloved “Sadie” sitting with him. Gerry & Rachelle moved to Osoyoos, BC 2005, wintering in Arizona. Gerry loved his woodworking and was often heard whistling in his shop working on a new project, clock, cross, watches, all of which he shared with his friends and family.  Gerry Volunteered at many organizations including capc, foodbank & helping renovate the church. One trip took he and Rachelle to Argentina to volunteer. He was predeceased by his mother & father, 2 brothers & is survived by wife Rachelle, daughters Jennifer & Arlene grandchildren & great-grandchildren Danelle, Luca, Rebecca, Christian, Roxie & Marcus.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Osoyoos Food Bank are appreciated.

Celebration of life to be held at The Osoyoos Baptist Church on May 3rd, 1 PM.
