With heavy hearts, we are saddened to announce the passing of a beloved husband, father and Nonno. On Monday, June 26, 2017, Aldo passed away peacefully at Sault Area Hospital surrounded by his loving family at the tender age of 76. Aldo immigrated to Canada from Serra d’Aiello, Italy at the young age of 16. He had many special talents and hobbies such as making wine and cured meats that were enjoyed and appreciated by all who knew him. Loving husband of Ida, and adored father of Franco Mannarino (Laura) and Liza Naccarato (John). Cherished Nonno of Aimee, Sierra, Joshua, Nicole and Noah. Loving son of the late Michele and Maria (nee Fascetti) Mannarino. Brother of the late Francesco (Ingeborg), Fernando (Triestina), late Annarosa, Alessandro (Aurelia) and Tullio (Carmena). Brother-in-law of Alberta Mammarella (late Alfredo) and Rina Maione (Santo). Aldo will be sadly missed by his many cousins, friends, nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, July 3, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral Mass at Precious Blood Cathedral on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 10:00 am, with entombment at Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum. Rev. Kumar Kanagaraj officiating.
