(June 22, 1934 - February 6, 2025)

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Barb at the age of 90.

She is predeceased by her parents George and Rose Hill. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 68 years, James Marinelli. Proud mother of Vincent James Marinelli (Darlene) and James Marinelli (Vicki Zeppa). Cherished grandmother to Ryan (Jenna) and Matthew (Bailey Cooper). Great grandmother of Halen James Marinelli. Predeceased by her brother, George Hill (late Mary) and her sister Rose Marie (Don Adams). Barb is also predeceased by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Norm and Arlene Candelori. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends who will mourn her loss.

Barb will be fondly remembered for her wonderful cooking, where she enjoyed preparing meals for her family. She liked to make crafts, and spent a lot of her time socially with a number of close friends, many that have predeceased her. She was an active member of St. Gerard Majella Church, where she spent many hours volunteering for various causes and events. She always put her families needs ahead of her own, a very devoted mother and wife until her last moment.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Carolyn Kuntz, the staff at Collegiate Heights, The Staff at the Driftwood Unit at the F.J. Davey Home and to the Palliative Care Team at the Davey Home. The family would also like to thank the Urology Department at the Sault Area Hospital.

Family and friends are invited to visit St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 11:00 am for a Memorial Mass in Barb's honour. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to the Urology Department at the Sault Area Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St E., 705-759-2522).
