It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing of Robert “Bobby” who left us on Good Friday, April 18, 2025, at his home in Treasure Park at the age of 67.

Robert is predeceased by his parents Charles and Noella Matte. He was a loving brother of the late Charles Jr., the late René, Marie, the late Jean Léon, Germaine and Jean Guy.  He will be remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Bobby will be fondly remembered for his radiant smile, feisty spirit, infectious sense of humor, and the warmth he exuded when surrounded by his sisters. He truly lived life on his own terms. Throughout his journey, Bobby faced numerous challenges, yet he will always be celebrated for his remarkable strength, resilience, and unwavering determination. Affectionate and playful, Bobby had a talent for humor and loved to joke around. He was persistent, charming, and determined, with a passion for the outdoors and was always fixing and building things. He possessed a tender and compassionate demeanor towards babies, children, animals, and all things pure. He treasured his Greyhound jersey, wearing it with great pride!

We extend our heartfelt condolences to all the staff at CLA who supported Bobby throughout his remarkable journey. During the final chapter of his life, his dedicated team at Treasure Park provided him with unwavering kindness, compassion, and dignity.
